Chilled Out Cherry Smoothie

It’s been a trying couple of days.  You know the kind of trying days that make you so angry that you want to cry?  Yep!

All I can say is thank goodness I’m feeling so much better in general, as I’ve been able to manage it.  One of the things that’s definitely helped me to find some balance recently is moon milk and its key ingredient ashwaganda. Moon milk is part of my bedtime routine but sometimes I need a calm inducing drink during.  That’s where this delicious cherry smoothie comes in.  It’s creamy and comforting and the prettiest shade of pink ?

Whenever I feel a bit stressed, I bring flowers in from the garden.

So right now my house smells divine!  I’m sat with my feet up (partly because it’s comfy and partly because I’m not that conscientious when it comes to thorns and there are definitely one or two in the rug) and sipping a cool glass of cherry smoothie.

Chilled!!

You Will Need

Frozen cherries – a handful

1/2 cup of milk – I used almond milk

3 tablespoons coconut yoghurt

Teaspoon honey

1/2 teaspoon ashwaganda powder

Method

Just blend the whole lot together!
