The squirrels had long since tucked in the the nuts when I found a handful of cups two Wintera ago. I kept looking at them and thinking how lovely they were but I think they might just be a bit lovelier now that I’ve done this!
It looks like our bookish squirrel (as yet unnamed) likes them too! If you’d like to make your own, you’ll first need to get your hands on some acorn cups. Oak trees are dropping them now so why not take yourself on an early Autumn walk and collect some.
You will need
Acorn cups
Gold or copper bells
Hot glue gun
I don’t think this craft needs a step by step tutorial but this is what your finished product should look like. I’ve piled them onto our fireplace for now but I think I’m going to add some to our Autumn door wreath.
As the wheel turns and the cooler seasons approach, I’m looking for ways to make my home warm and cozy and welcoming. How are you adding a bit of hygge to your home?
Love Rachel ❤
