Peppermint Foot Scrub DIY

It’s almost sandals and flip flops time.  You know, that time of year when we have to prize our dusty little hooves out of the comfort and safety of boots and brogues and reveal them to the World.

I don’t know about you, but my feet are far from ‘beach ready’!  So I’ve rustled up a simple but very effective foot scrub and it’s so good that I’ve made a few more jars to give as presents.

You Will Need *makes around 2 jars

2 cups coarse salt

1 tablespoon Epsom salts (optional)

1/2 cup sunflower oil

30 drops peppermint essential oil

1/3 cup of dried peppermint, from your garden or buy it in a jar

Method

  • Put the salt and Epsom salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly
  • Add the peppermint oil, dried mint and almond oil and mix thoroughly until all of the ingredients are completely combined
  • Spoon into jars
  • Print or write out some instruction labels which should advise the recipients not to use this product on their face and to rub into damp skin in a circular motion

Enjoy your silky smooth, sweet smelling toes and all those longed for sunny day adventures.

Love Rachel ❤
