Golden Turmeric Pancakes

Turmeric is a pretty magical ingredient that offers a host of benefits to your health.  So I’m always looking for ways to include more of it in to my diet.  Since I also take every opportunity to eat pancakes, Golden Turmeric Pancakes are a no brainer!

You will need

100g self raising flour

2 eggs

300ml unsweetened almond milk

1 teaspoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon turmeric



  • It’s super simple.  Combine all of the ingredients
  • Heat a frying pan or hot plate until very hot
  • Ladle some of the mixture on to the pan and smooth with the back of the ladle
  • Cook until bubbles start to show and then flip
  • Cook the other side for a short time
  • Stack on a warmed plate
  • Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with blueberries

I’ve also sprinkled some cornflower petals on mine but I’m just feeling a bit boujie at the moment 🤣

You might not think that these pancakes would go down well with children but Dorothy says they’re delicious! I might see if she wants to try Golden Milk next.
